We’re building 130 affordable, high-quality homes in Whittlesey offered in a range of different sizes. 65 properties will be for social rent and 65 will be for shared ownership. We started the work in 2023 and expect to be finished by summer 2025.
There’ll be a selection of two-bed, three-bed and four-bed properties across 10 different home styles with green open spaces. Local schools, shops and other amenities are just a 20-minute walk away. The town has a weekly market and benefits from its own train station which links directly to Peterborough and Ely, making it easy to get to Cambridge, London and Stanstead Airport.
A large superstore near Whittlesey Green got planning permission in 2022 and is expected to start construction shortly.
All homes will be EPC-rated A.
