How to rent a home from Accent
There are two ways to rent a home from Accent – choice-based letting and Rightmove.
Choice-based letting
The first is via your local authority through choice-based letting.
Choice-based letting (CBL) is a housing scheme run by local councils across the UK. It gives you the freedom to bid on the best home for you, so you can have a say in where you live.
If you’re looking for a home in a specific area, we recommend signing up to your local housing register.
Rightmove
Some of our properties aren't available through CBL schemes. We'll advertise these on Rightmove.
1. Search for a property
Visit our Accent Rightmove page and search for the location you are interested in by using the postcode or name of the area.
You can refine your search results by filtering for specific requirements, like whether you want a house or a flat, your price range, how many bedrooms there are, if you need a garden and whether or not the property has parking.
Some people find it easier to create Rightmove account, which means you can set up alerts for new listings that match your criteria and save your favourite properties.
2. Contact us
Once you've spotted a suitable property that meets your needs, contact our allocations and lettings team through Rightmove by submitting an enquiry form.
You can also contact us directly on 0345 678 0555.
3. Fill in your property application form
Once you've been in touch, our allocations and lettings team will send you a link to our property application form in our Let's Move application portal. You'll need to fill this in within 48 hours.
